With the coming of autumn comes the September bear season and the November deer season. To sit in a stand in late afternoon or early evening during this time of year can both be relaxing and exciting. Just to listen to the sounds of nature can be rewarding. The distant squirrel, a grouse drumming on a log, the mice rustling through the leaves below your stand makes you feel one with nature. As you look up you notice that black bear or that 200 pound buck has approached your stand and you wonder where he came from. This is when the excitement starts. Lakes Edge Guide Service located on Millinocket Lake, is a professional guide service that can provide you with an opportunity of returning home with a trophy.
