With several rafting companies based in the Millinocket - Katahdin area, daily trips on Maine's premier whitewater rivers are the norm. Professional Guides provide guests with a thorough safety orientation and all equipment is furnished. Buses transport guests to the river and the fun really begins.

Snowmobiling Traveling 350 miles of magnificently groomed snowmobile trails leading through the area couldn't be more easier. I.T.S. 86 and 83 are easily accessible from the Adobe Motel. Trailside gas, lodging and meals are available in all directions from our motel. Six high powered groomers keep the trails in top notch shape for your pleasure. You are also at home to 2 of the largest snowmobile clubs in Maine, the Northern Timber Cruisers in Millinocket and the East Branch Sno Rovers of East Millinocket.
The Katahdin Region has some of the most scenic trail riding opportunities around and with annual snowfalls of 100 inches and more is quickly becoming the "place to be" for your winter vacation!
The Katahdin Region lays claim to 45 miles of track set groomed trails that are accessible to cross-country skiers at no cost. Skiers can choose from three prime cross-country skiing locations, the Bait Hole - North Twin Ridge Trails - Northern Timber Cruisers Clubhouse. |
